In recent years, Power BI, Microsoft's business intelligence solution, has become a must-have for exploring, analyzing and visualizing data. This set of tools allows you to connect to various data sources and create interactive reports that add value to your data and help you make strategic decisions.
If you have already used a spreadsheet program (Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc) or if you are already familiar with a BI tool, but would like to learn more about the opportunities offered by Power BI, this training is for you.

At the end of this training, you will be able to connect to various data sources. You will be able to create an optimized data model using the many native features of Power Query and enrich your models using the DAX language. Then you will be able to create interactive reports and share them with interested parties in complete security.
This training will be a first step in the preparation for the PL-300 certification : Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst

Goals

• Connect and prepare data with Power Query
• Create data models using DAX formulas
• Design interactive reports with Power BI Desktop
• Master the codes of data visualization to get your message across effectively
• Publish and share your reports with Power BI Service and Power BI Mobile

Teaching method

• This training is 70% practical and uses illustrated and didactic exercises.
• A daily evaluation of the acquisition of the knowledge of the day before is carried out.
• A synthesis is proposed at the end of the training.
• An evaluation will be proposed to the trainee at the end of the course.
• A course support will be given to each participant including slides on the theory and exercises.
• A sign-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the course as well as a certificate of completion if the trainee has attended the entire session.
• A follow-up and an exchange with the participants will take place a few days after the training.

Prerequisite

Basic spreadsheet skills (Microsoft Excel) are required.
